Welcome to the Black Horse RFC. Founded in 1977 by 3 friends of the famous Hertford watering hole, the first pub rugby club to be affiliated to the RFU.

Still going strong in 2023, this friendly group of rugby enthusiasts currently play in the Herts/Middlesex Merit Leagues with a full calendar of fixtures throughout the season. The club currently plays all home games at Hertford Rugby Club.

Being based out of a pub the team always head there after a game and we they have an active social diary with events for club players and supporters throughout the year.
